Powdered Nitrile Rubber (NBR) is a copolymer synthesized from butadiene and acrylonitrile. It features outstanding resistance to heat, cold, wear, slippage, oil, and solvents, as well as excellent flexibility, plasticizer migration resistance, compression set resistance, and impact toughness enhancement—all of which can be improved simultaneously. In addition, it enhances physical properties, improves chemical resistance, and boosts processing performance. Its toughening effect is several times greater than that of conventional modifiers, making it a superior alternative to similar imported products.

Powdered styrene butadiene rubber (PSBR) is a fine synthetic polymer material produced from styrene and butadiene through emulsion polymerization and drying processes. It appears as a free-flowing powder that can be easily mixed with various dry materials, making it highly suitable for industrial and construction applications. Compared with traditional liquid latex, powdered styrene butadiene rubber offers easier storage, transportation, and handling while maintaining similar performance benefits.

This material is widely used as an additive in construction products such as cement mortar, tile adhesives, self-leveling compounds, repair mortars, and waterproof coatings. When added to cement-based materials, PSBR improves flexibility, crack resistance, adhesion strength, and overall durability. It also enhances the bonding between different construction layers and reduces the risk of shrinkage and structural damage.

Powdered styrene butadiene rubber is also used in coatings, adhesives, and polymer modification systems. It provides excellent film-forming properties, impact resistance, and improved mechanical performance. Due to its stable chemical structure, it offers good resistance to aging, moisture, and environmental stress.

Another advantage of powdered styrene butadiene rubber is its ease of use in dry-mix formulations. Manufacturers can blend it directly with cement, fillers, and other additives to create ready-to-use products. When water is added during application, the powder redistributes to form a polymer network that enhances the performance of the final material.

With its excellent bonding ability, flexibility, and long-term durability, powdered styrene butadiene rubber has become an important modifier in modern construction and industrial material formulations.
