PNBR is a kind of free-flowing power which is polymerized by butadiene and acrylonitrile and has great consistency with phenolic resin. It can be used to modify phenolic resin to improve its shock strength, elastic recovery and abrasive resistance.
Using PNBR in friction material can modify phenolic resin and makes production has following advantages: high shock strength, stable friction coefficient, high heat fading resistance, lower hardness. It can improve the production’s oil resistance, heat endurance and softness.

Appearance: white or yellow powder; acrylonitrile content: 26-40%; Mooney viscosity: 50-80; grain diameter: 40-80μm.
3.Application
(1) PNBR is commonly used in the brake sheets and clutches of cars, trains and motorbikes.
(2) Brake linings and brake pads of heavy-duty cars.
(3) Resin wheels and so on.
